BEFORE THE COURSE

Here you will find everything you need to know before your course with us.

CHECKLIST BEFORE THE COURSE

Read this after booking the course so you know what to do next.

RULES AND POLICIES

We know it’s boring reading, but it’s important to check what applies if, for example, you
would like to cancel your course. The most important thing for us is your health before
we start our work together and that you know which parts of the course teachings you
can share after.

You must agree that you have read and agree to how we process your personal data,
our cancellation rules as well as health certificates and course rules in order to send
your course registration to us, precisely because it is so important. You can read all this
again here.

WELCOME AND SOCIAL MEDIA

We are so honored that you will take a big step in your journey with us!

In order for us to be able to give you a warm welcome in the best possible way, and so
that you can then easily keep in touch with your newfound friends with us, you who
attend one of our weekly courses will be invited to a closed group on Facebook. Please
keep an eye out in case we post any important information regarding your course.

Please let us know if you haven’t received your invitation two weeks before the start of
the course or if you don’t have Facebook, that’s also perfectly fine of course!

We love to take pictures of the fine work that happens with us and then share in the
group as well as selected pictures on our other social media. Of course, we understand
that not everyone wants to join, and then all you have to do is let us know and we can
also notify the other course members for you.

ACCOMMODATION

Accommodation on our courses is always booked and paid for separately and it should
be clear on the booking form where to contact you, but if not, please let us know and we
will help you further.

THIS IS WHAT A DAY LOOKS LIKE WITH US

No two days are the same with Q’ero Medicine and you’ll soon realise that just a few
days can feel like the adventure of a lifetime with laughter, tears and life-changing
insights.

Generally, the days will include morning meditation, teaching, sacred movement and
dance (movement opens and connects us to our soul plane), healing, practical sessions,
demonstrations, exercises and inner processing. During the evenings, we often gather
around candlelight and ceremony.

All courses are different in their structure and keep track of what applies to your course,
you will find that information under each course on the website.

TIMES – WEEKLY COURSES (MEDICINE WHEEL, MASTER
CLASSES & SHAMANIC TRAINING)

The start time of the first day is stated when you register and is usually 2 pm, at which
time you should be ready to meet below the course room.

The following days we start with meditation at 7:20. After meditation and breakfast, we
meet to start the course day at 9 a.m. This always applies unless other information is
given during the course.

It’s long educational days with us at Condor Sonqo so prepare for late
nights, something that is always appreciated when your processes are underway (and
remember that the bed is close if you live on the course centre). We always try to be
ready by 9 p.m., but our ceremony evenings can last longer as well as the first evenings
in the southern course.

On the last day, we usually end at 3 p.m. unless otherwise stated.

TIMES – 3 & 4 DAY COURSES

The start time of the first day is stated when you register and is usually 9 o’clock when
you must be ready to meet at the course venue.

We start the following days at 9 am unless other info is given during the course.

You get long educational days on our weekend courses, but we always try to be ready
by 9 p.m. This also applies to the last day.

TO BRING WITH YOU

It is important that you take note of what your particular course requires and you will find
that information under the respective course here on the website. It may differ slightly
which stones you should bring and which preparations are required, but generally this is
needed:

  • Notepad and pen.
  • Your mesa if you have one (Medicine Bundle).
  • Comfortable clothes as most of the courses take place on the floor. Thick socks
can be nice if your feet get cold easily.
  • Outdoor clothing: be prepared for ceremony nights and working outdoors. Depending on the weather, warm outdoor clothing, rain boots, flashlight, etc. may be helpful.
  • Drum or rattle if you have one.
  • A yoga mat or a blanket can be nice for working on the floor.
  • If you have your own massage table, you are welcome to bring it if you have the
    opportunity.
  • It’s long days, so feel free to bring some snacks with you if you need to fill up on
energy (we don’t recommend nuts) and a water bottle. Coffee and tea are
available during the breaks and you can take them into the course, just
remember to take it in a small thermos – no cups or glasses are allowed in the
course room as it could spill.

Read more during your course if there is anything else needed for that course.
Sometimes we dress up for ceremony nights and bring gifts to exchange. Above all, it is
often specially selected stones that will be included in the course.

If you have any questions or if something is missing, all you have to do is get in touch
and double check with us.
